Cremation and paperwork
- All cremation fees at one of our trusted partner crematoria.
- Co-ordination of all necessary paperwork and administration with doctors, hospitals, care homes and the crematorium.
- Guidance and support from our team by phone or online.
- Ashes scattered at the crematorium’s garden of remembrance, or returned to you (depending on the option you choose with us).
How our pricing works
We use just three elements to calculate your price: the base cremation fee, distance from Harlow and, in some cases, weight. There are no “admin charges” or hidden extras in the calculation.
Covers collection within the standard radius, professional care, cremation fees and administration.
If collection is further than 35 miles, we add £1 for each additional mile, one-way, to cover mileage and time.
For practical and safety reasons, a fixed £200 surcharge is applied for weights above 120kg, which covers extra staff and equipment.

To keep your costs clear and manageable, our standard price focuses on the essentials of a simple cremation. Some services fall outside of this and can be added separately if you wish.

- A formal funeral service at the crematorium, including minister or celebrant fees.
- Use of a hearse, limousines or processions on the day of cremation.
- Embalming, viewing or chapel-of-rest visits.
- Floral tributes, printed orders of service or venue hire for a memorial.

- Different options for returning ashes, such as hand delivery or specialist courier.
- Support in arranging a separate memorial or celebration of life at a venue of your choice.

The direct cremation takes place at our trusted partner crematorium. We will let you know the date and time it will take place, so you can mark the moment in your own way if you wish.
We return the ashes by hand anywhere in Great Britain, at a suitable time and date, within 28 days of the cremation. You can then choose how and where to say goodbye.
