2. Personal Planner:
Secondly, we assign a personal funeral planner to you, they will cater to your individual needs. During the entire process, you will have the support of your personal funeral assistant who will guide you through every step of the way and answer any questions you may have.
3. Collection
Thirdly, we collect your loved one’s body with the utmost care and respect from the hospital or coroner’s mortuary. Our team of professionals will ensure that your loved one is treated with dignity throughout the entire journey.
4. Legal Paperwork
Fourthly, we understand that the completion of legal paperwork such as death certificates and permits for the cremation process can be a complex and overwhelming task. Therefore, we take care of all the necessary documentation to ensure a hassle-free process. The Doctor’s paperwork is charged at an additional £82.
5. Cremation
Fifthly, we take care of everything including the removal of artificial devices such as a pacemaker and handling of paperwork. The direct cremation will take place at our trusted partner crematorium and we’ll let you know the date and time it will take place.
6. Ashes
Lastly, we return the ashes by hand anywhere in Great Britain, at a suitable time and date within 28 days of the cremation. Alternatively, we can scatter the ashes at the crematorium’s garden of remembrance.
*Doctor’s paperwork is charged at an additional £82 (standard fee) and is not included. **Ashes will be delivered to your home address within 21 days of the cremation. We don’t use a courier or postal service. This service is free for addresses within 20 miles of the crematorium , a charge of 95p per mile will apply after the first 20 miles.
